Google code jam 2012

Well, now that I am a ‘real’ programmer, I thought this would be easy. The qualifying rounds usually are anyway. Unfortunately I just moved and started a new job and have three little boys keeping me busy. Well I only had a little bit of time to put in and I had very little sleep, but I did the first two of four problems and got them right so I at least go to the first round . I decided that since I work with C# now that I would use that language. That took most of my time, familiarizing myself with IO stuff and parsing, etc. The algorithms to solve the problems I got pretty quick. I’ll have to prepare a bit for the first round if I am going to use C#.
